Doug Morris has been involved in emergency medicine since
1982 and has enjoyed teaching for the last 20 years. He has
served in military, hospital, clinical, private service and
ambulance-based operations. He has served as a combat
medic, a Paramedic, and a firefighter. He is a Captain with
the Fayette County Fire Department in Fayetteville, Georgia.
He is happily married to Deanna and they have three
beautiful children. Doug loves talking about the heart!


Deanna Morris has worked as a Lieutenant with the Henry County
Fire Department in McDonough, Georgia and has been a firefighter
since 1993. She has served in a number of medical capacities
involving both EMS and ER-based environments. Deanna's favorite
part of teaching is meeting new people and it shows in her approach
to classes. She has a wonderful low-key teaching style that make her
classes really fun.
Together, Doug and Deanna have nearly 40 years of teaching and
work experience. They have worked 100's of cardiac arrests and
bring real-world experience to the classroom. They are dedicated to
bringing solid patient-care information to the classroom in a
non-intimidating, no-stress way.
